The more educated you are about your pet, the better you will be able to care for him or her, so we strive to offer you all the support you need.
Your puppy or kitten visit will include a complete physical examination to look for illnesses or developmental issues. A fecal floatation will be performed to screen for intestinal parasites, which affect many puppies and kittens. At this time, we will also discuss a vaccination schedule and parasite treatment and prevention program that is tailored to your pet’s specific needs. We will also touch on behavioral advice that may be needed or practices for you to do at home to prepare for future visits with us. These practices will help reduce potential fear and make your pet more comfortable and familiar with what may occur during a vet visit.
