Meet the Team of Harbor Point Animal Hospital
We’re pleased to provide exceptional vet care for your pets!

Dr. Sean Allers, BVetMed MRCVS
Medical Director
Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Allers moved to the United Kingdom in 2011 to see the world and attend the Royal Veterinary College of London. Despite all plans to move back to the U.S. upon graduation in 2015, he met his wonderful wife while in vet school and moved to Manchester, UK for the next five years. While there he worked at a small general practice for one year before taking on a Medical Director role at a three-vet practice.
In 2020 Dr. Allers and his wife decided it was time to move back to the U.S. and set some roots in Charlotte, NC. He joined the Mint Hill Animal Hospital team as Medical Director, and he also serves as the Medical Director of Harbor Point Animal Hospital.
When Dr. Allers and Dr. Allers aren’t at work or discussing their interesting cases over dinner, they enjoy spending time hiking, boating, or generally being outdoors. They are the proud owners of two wonderful rescue cats: Princess Peach Strudel and Wolfy Barnaby Allers.
